The paid internship that provides an altogether smarter experience

Our paid summer internship, usually around 12 weeks, gives you the opportunity to gain experience using the latest tools and technologies, working in a team and learning from our experienced mentors. Previous projects have been diverse, see below.

You should gain valuable insight into how we develop software, and enjoy the vibrant culture of our development centres. We hope it may also be the start of a longer-term relationship, and you could join the growing number of interns who have returned to join our Graduate Programme.

Meet some of Scott Logic's outstanding interns

Chris, Electronic and Computer Engineering Graduate

Technical Architect, Newcastle

“Starting as an intern was great as I was being paid to do the bits of my degree that I particularly enjoyed, and the Graduate Programme was a natural progression from university. My favourite thing about the job is the technical freedom I am given. You’re encouraged to explore and learn new things here.”

Mila, Computer Science Graduate

Developer, Edinburgh

“Even though software development was entirely new to me, and could prove a challenge at times, I learned so much about it and enjoyed the placement a lot. All my colleagues were extremely helpful and friendly; I was happy to be part of a professional and pleasant working environment, and didn’t have to think twice about applying to return as a graduate.”
