We’re shortlisted for two Dynamites 19 Awards!

Scott Logic has been shortlisted in two categories of Dynamites 19, the North East’s IT and technology awards. The awards are organised by Dynamo, a group set up with the core mission to “Grow the North East IT Economy” through collaboration, innovation and skills.

The North East of England is one of the UK’s fastest-growing economies, with a significant part of that growth being fuelled by the IT and digital sector, which is expected to contribute £1.1bn to the North East economy by 2020. In addition, the Finance, Professional and Business Services sector, of which Scott Logic is also a part, employs more than 130,000 people in the region.

Scott Logic has been shortlisted in two categories which recognise the active contribution it is making towards Dynamo’s aims for the North East:

• Growth Explosion – Scott Logic has achieved growth unrivalled in the North East’s tech sector in recent years, as recognised in the London Stock Exchange Group’s report ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2019’. It’s important to us to ensure that the fruits of this growth are reinvested into the North East by creating new jobs in the region, and investing in initiatives to address social mobility and under-representation.
• Skills Developer – By taking innovative approaches to recruitment, training and retention, Scott Logic has grown its workforce by 40% in the last year. We are committed to strengthening the North East’s skills pipeline, in particular retaining talented graduates in the North East.
