Want to make more than tea?

Please note: our Summer Internship scheme is currently closed for applications. You can find out more about our internships below and if you'd like to be notified when applications open in the autumn for our 2021 internships, please sign up to our mailing list.

With our annual internship you can enjoy a summer season being paid to sample a challenging and rewarding career in software.

Scott Logic builds large-scale, bespoke, business-critical systems for some of the world’s most high-profile organisations. You’ll spend around 12 weeks learning from smart, highly-capable people in a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge and experience.

Through our internship programme, you will build on the knowledge you’ve gained at university and begin to apply it in a real-world setting, learning new things and working with cutting-edge technologies along the way – you can find out below about recent intern projects.

And we hope you’ll forge a longer-term relationship with us that will see you return to our graduate programme after you complete your degree.

To apply for the paid summer internship you need to be in the penultimate year of your degree, ideally in a computing, mathematical, engineering or scientific subject. You should also have:

  • A-Level or Higher grades of at least BBB or equivalent
  • The ability to adapt and learn new technologies while working as part of a team
  • A passion for software or technology
  • Great problem-solving skills
