We’re looking for a Cloud SecOps Specialist to drive Security Operations and help secure varying and challenging client environments, evolving the information security tools and processes that underpinning our Service Management function… is that you?

Scott Logic builds large-scale, bespoke, business-critical systems for some of the world’s most high-profile organisations. Increasingly, our clients are looking to us to operate, maintain and continually improve the systems we build for them. They want us to bring the same focus on customer needs and high quality of service that they have come to expect of us—and which has been recognised in our ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications. We’re building our Service Management function on these foundations of excellence, and this role will play an important part in that.

We will recognise your experience and fundamental skills. If you aren’t getting a chance to use modern technologies and practices in your current role, we can help you to build your skill set.

You’ll be surrounded by smart, highly capable people in a collaborative environment that encourages helping others by sharing knowledge and experience. We’ll help you develop your career further, taking growing levels of ownership.

You'll have extensive experience:

  • With SecOps activities, including system administration, operations governance, threat and vulnerability management, and incident response
  • Of privileged access management, vulnerability management, secrets management and access control
  • Securing cloud infrastructure solutions in any of the major public cloud offerings – AWS/Azure or GCP

In addition to this, you should have a strong understanding of:

  • Core network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Deploying and supporting cloud-based applications that are scalable, resilient and highly available
  • Bespoke software development and build/deployment automation
  • The ISO 9001 standard
