EcoVadis sustainability rating places us in the top 7% of companies

Global consultancy EcoVadis has awarded Scott Logic a 2025 sustainability rating of 76/100, placing us in the top 7% of all assessed organisations and the top 7% in our industry. EcoVadis awards companies in the 85+ percentile its silver medal.
EcoVadis’s assessment approach has become more nuanced; in part, this accounts for the drop in two points from our 78/100 rating in 2024. We welcome the more exacting standards. The purpose of seeking independent validation of our sustainability performance is to help us improve how we deliver on our Social Mission.
We have completed an independent, industry-tailored sustainability assessment of our organisation with EcoVadis every year since 2021. The assessment approach is based entirely on documentary evidence of policies, actions, results, and reporting, categorised under four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
We hold ourselves to account in how well we’re living up to our Purpose, Mission and Values. Independent assessments by organisations such as EcoVadis and B Lab are an important element of this, helping us to track progress and shape continuous improvements. We gained a higher score this year for our approach to sustainable procurement, and the EcoVadis assessment identifies areas for improvement across all four themes – we’ll target those in our plans and priorities for the year ahead.
