We’re shortlisted for three UK IT Industry Awards!

29 October 2020

Scott Logic has been shortlisted for three awards at the UK IT Industry Awards 2020, the largest and most well-known event in the technology industry calendar.

Owned and operated by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing, the awards celebrate organisational and individual excellence – those who are inspiring the next generation of IT professionals and helping to shape the future of IT, the industry and digital society.

Scott Logic is a finalist for three awards spanning the categories of Personal Excellence and Organisational Excellence:

  • Rising Star of the Year – Awarded to an IT professional under the age of 30 who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and achievement in their work. On his first client engagement – having joined Scott Logic as a graduate – Zac Rubin took on the role of DevOps Engineer on a challenger bank project with very demanding timescales. He made a crucial contribution to project success thanks to his unique combination of qualities.
  • IT Team of the Year – Awarded to the company that demonstrates how the implementation of its IT strategy has been fundamental to achieving business goals. Our work in collaboration with our banking client on its Open Banking programme has brought about a fundamental mindset change regarding the business's role in delivering customer value. APIs are now at the heart of the client's technology and business strategy.
  • Services Company of the Year – Awarded to recognise excellence in the provision of IT systems, with high levels of customer satisfaction and business benefits from the users of its products and services. As well as our innovative and high-calibre client work, we have contributed open-source software as active members of the development community and reinvested revenues in scholarships and a charity to cultivate future tech talent.
