We run Open Source meetups in London and Edinburgh in partnership with FINOS, the Fintech Open Source Foundation. Together, we aim to encourage everyone to consume and contribute safely to open source software by fostering collaboration in the community around open source software for large enterprises. Through our events, you can network with the open source community, keep up to date with the latest open source technologies, and gain insights on how to cultivate an open source culture.

In 2019 and early 2020, our two organisations came together to launch Open Source meetup groups in Edinburgh and London with the aim of expanding contributions to and consumption of open source technologies that support large enterprises.
We've had the privilege of welcoming high-calibre speakers from global organisations to our meetup events, including major banking groups, investment banks, cloud and web service providers, as well as not-for-profit organisations promoting open source. Certified with CHAOSS DEI badging of our events, we strive to ensure diversity in our speakers so that we are representative of the wider community. Usually hosted at Scott Logic's Edinburgh office, Open Source Edinburgh welcomes speakers from Scotland's financial services industry and the wider open source community.
