He has also directed the team that developed a Securities Lending System for one of the world’s most instantly recognisable banks. A published author, blogger and tech visionary, Colin still finds time to practise his considerable skills as a 7-ball juggler.

Head of Consultancy (Newcastle)
Sam leads the consultancy teams in our Newcastle HQ. He studied Software Engineering at Imperial before becoming a publican. After a year out pulling pints and cooking pub grub, he moved into software development where he’s spent the last eleven years. The majority of that time has been with Scott Logic, crafting solutions for clients in a variety of sectors. Sam now leads Scott Logic’s cloud engineering practice. He’s also a keen rugby fan and you’ll often see him politely correcting a mistaken referee.

Non-work passions include walking and climbing in mountains, and running over them for longer distances than is strictly sensible.
