Scott Logic certified as a Most Loved Workplace®

1 September 2022

Scott Logic has become certified as a Most Loved Workplace®, backed by Best Practice Institute (BPI) research and analysis. Most Loved Workplace® validation provides the most comprehensive look at workplace sentiment for organisations today.

“To be certified as a Most Loved Workplace® is a huge honour and proves to me that we’re doing things right by placing our people at the heart of our business,” said Steve Foreshew-Cain, Scott Logic’s CEO. “When you boil it down, innovative tech services companies like ours only have one truly precious asset – the talented and creative people they employ. And the successful ones create an environment in which people can learn, grow and build a long career.

"Since joining at the start of 2021," he continued, "I’ve worked hard to foster Scott Logic’s people-focused culture so that everyone has an opportunity to grow, and can contribute to shaping the business and having a positive impact on the communities we live in and the wider world.”

Scott Logic has been certified as a Most Loved Workplace® because of the company’s foundational focus on its people. Scott Logic lives its ‘Altogether Smarter’ strapline through a focus on quality in recruitment – the company’s consultants love working with and learning from some of the UK’s best technologists. Its people are passionate about effecting positive change, so they really value Scott Logic’s EDI initiatives, its Net Zero commitment, and its support for charities. They love that Scott Logic’s People Promise and Wellbeing Programme show the company’s support for them in all aspects of their lives. And they love the company’s social culture, bringing people together regularly for social events of all sizes.

Most Loved Workplaces® certify companies where employees are the happiest and most satisfied at work. Scott Logic became certified as a Most Loved Workplace® based on its scores on the Love of Workplace Index™, which surveys employees on various elements around employee satisfaction and sentiment, including the level of respect, collaboration, support, and sense of belonging they feel inside the company.

"I started Most Loved Workplaces® out of inspiration from my community of people who consciously place love for their employees at the centre of their business model," said Louis Carter, the founder and CEO of BPI, and a social/organisational psychologist, thought leader, entrepreneur, and author. Carter's book, In Great Company: How to Spark Peak Performance by Creating an Emotionally Connected Workplace, identifies the specific areas needed to become a highly respected, reputable organisation where people love to work with each other – a Most Loved Workplace®.

In its original research that created MLW criteria, backed by BPI, Most Loved Workplaces® surveyed more than 175 companies and more than 3,000 executives across Europe, United States, Middle East/Northern Africa, and Southeast Asia. They found that productivity rises as employee sentiment increases, with 94 percent of responders saying they did three to four times more work for a company they loved and 95 percent saying they stayed at companies they loved three to four times longer. Most Loved Workplaces® certification is the most valid method to determine employee experience and recognise a top workplace that is loved by its employees.
