Scott Logic’s Service Management practice has achieved certification to two important international standards: ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
Increasingly, Scott Logic is being awarded contracts that include a significant support element. It is therefore important to us to be able to demonstrate our commitment to strengthening and sustaining the quality of our services.
ISO 9001 provides assurance that we run IT and Information Security governance to the very highest standards through fact-based and data-driven decision making. The certification demonstrates our commitment to sustained and improved quality in relation to the reliability, efficiency and effectiveness of our service.
ISO 27001 provides assurance that our Information Security services are gold standard. This certification is very challenging to attain given the critical nature of information security. It covers a depth and breadth of subject areas which involve all business functions in 14 unique categories, with 114 controls and each control containing up to 15 implementation requirements.
We are especially pleased to have passed the certification audits with flying colours. No Major or Minor Nonconformities were identified in the assessment, and no Sources of Improvement were recommended by the auditors. Both certifications last for three years and we will be reassessed each year, allowing us to demonstrate our on-going commitment to improving the quality of our services.
And as international standards, our ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications will signify the calibre and maturity of our Service Management practice to current and future clients not only in the UK, but around the world.
