Our work
We always deliver the most pragmatic response to our clients’ needs
We always deliver the most pragmatic response to our clients' needs. Sometimes this means delivering technical audits, sometimes building complete platforms from scratch, other times we deliver front-end UX design for an existing app. Here's a flavour of some of our recent work…
Full-service delivery of ScotPayments
How we supported the Scottish Government, from initial concept to the private Beta phase, with the technical development and delivery of a scalable platform through which public sector organisations can make quick and secure payments.
Delivery to international standards
The extensible, scalable and secure platform we designed and built for the Scottish Government met Open Banking Standards as well as ISO 20022 and ISO 20000.
Scott Logic assisted us by providing technical guidance and quickly responding to our development capacity ramp-up needs, allowing us to release the cloud streaming service on a very aggressive timeline.
Arne Henningsen – Executive Director, Global Head of IT Client Experience, Saxo Bank
Cloud scale-up: big results with a small team
With the right strategy, cloud can be a driver of growth and business agility. During a period of significant expansion at Saxo Bank, we proactively recommended an agile and low-cost approach to improving the scalability of a key platform for its customers, and implemented the new architecture at pace.
Turning innovative tech into BAU
Rapid prototyping of a GenAI hybrid
In just sixteen weeks, we supported a legal technology business in delivering a Proof of Concept to evaluate a hybrid of its contract analysis technology and generative AI, helping the client navigate uncharted software engineering waters along the way.
Breaking bots deliberately
We built and open sourced Spy Logic, a browser-based app that enables developers to assume the role of hacker, testing the defences of a fictional company's chatbot so as to learn how to de-risk their own GenAI applications.
De-risking a GenAI chatbot
We delivered a successful proof of concept for a major retail bank, developing a chatbot that safely interacts with customers while it gathers the insights needed to recommend suitable products and services.
Untethering from legacy
Modernising your legacy IT estate needn’t be budget-busting. By working with Scott Logic, we can support you in shaping an incremental plan to migrate away from legacy IT in easy, affordable steps – along with a solid business case that will help you sell to stakeholders the ROI that will ensue in terms of increased business responsiveness and reduced costs.
Productivity gains via an enhanced migration
Working with HM Land Registry stakeholders, we found an early opportunity to add significant value to a migration project, refreshing the front- and back-ends of a critical business system in order to boost caseworker productivity.
Embracing a cloud native future
On the journey to delivering this step-change in our customer offering, the Scott Logic team challenged us in all the right ways, resulting in some of the strongest technical delivery we have seen and the capacity for our team to take the product forward.
Stefan Jesse, Group Co-Chief Executive Officer, AUVESY-MDT
Financial Services in our DNA
Scott Logic has its roots in the financial services industries and we have two decades of history supporting clients in these highly regulated organisations to create innovative solutions to complex business problems.
Open Banking pioneers
We worked as part of the team at one of the nine UK banks subject to the Competition and Markets Authority mandate, supporting the delivery of Open Banking APIs which now serve hundreds of millions of API calls per month from hundreds of businesses serving millions of customers.
RegTech reimagined
Learn how with NEX Regulatory Reporting we designed and built a platform allowing users to deliver reports to regulators with a high level of transparency.
Harnessing data to your business goals
We build intuitive systems capable of presenting vast quantities of information in a simple and accessible way. We’ve helped organisations develop strategies for complex data projects such as migration to new platforms, and we've supported the implementation of secure data-sharing processes and the associated governance around sensitive data.
Supporting data-driven care
When COVID-19 took hold in the UK in March 2020, NHS Digital moved rapidly to identify the most clinically vulnerable people in society so that they could be supported to shield themselves. We were called upon to provide support in laying the foundations of this critically important new service.
